Lillian M. Shumate, 86, of Ormond Beach, Fl., passed away on March 29, 2018 at Halifax Health Hospice Center of Ormond Beach, Fl. A visitation will be held at Lohman Funeral Home, 733 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, Fl., Tuesday, April 3rd between the hours of 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm, with services to be held during the evening session. There will also be a visitation Wednesday April 4th at 10:00am-1:00pm. Lillian was born September 13, 1931, in Baltimore, Maryland to Landon and Elsie Anderson. In 1992 Lillian and Carl moved to Ormond Beach and made it their home. Lillian was an Executive Secretary for 33 years at Proctor and Gamble. She was also an officer and life member of Ormond Beach Aerie #3800 of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. She was a big fan of the Baltimore Ravens and the Baltimore Orioles teams. She is predeceased by her husband, Carl M. Shumate Jr., and survived by her son, Carl M. Shumate III, and daughter Carol M. Shumate, her significant other Manny Couturiaux, all of Ormond Beach. She is also survived by her sisters, Eva Buettner and Evelyn Chaffman, and a brother Lonnie Anderson all of Maryland, three grandchildren: Nichole Sanza OF Maryland, Brittany Elgin (Steven Grimmette), of Ormond Beach, Fl. and Cody Couturiaux of Port Orange, Fl., and also great grandchildren: A.J.
