Lillian Kay (Neely) Hayes, of Daytona Beach, FL, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at the age of 65. Kay was born to Dr. James Robert Neely and Mayme E. (Waters) Neely on September 24, 1959 in Nashville, TN.

She will be deeply missed and is survived by her mother, Mayme E. Neely of Elizabethtown, PA; her 4 siblings; Margie (Darren) Davis, Sandra (Mark) Khoshnevissan, Brent (Beth), and Charmaine "Charlie" (Ray) Hain; her 7 nephews and nieces; Matthew (Diana), Melissa, JJ (Rachel), Carl (Cassie), Nisha (Matthew), Rachel, and Chad (Kayla); and several other family members and close friends. She was well-loved and her light and life blessed all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jeffery Hayes, and her father, Dr. James Robert Neely.

Kay graduated from Elizabethtown High School in 1977 and attended Penn State. She was a logistics supervisor for the American Red Cross for National Disaster Reserve after Hurricane Katrina. Her life's passion was helping women find a path to recovery from addiction, and she owned and operated recovery houses in Daytona Beach for 15 years.

Cremation services will be provided by Lohman Funeral Home at 1423 Bellevue Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32114. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 326 S Palmetto Ave., Daytona Beach at 2:00PM. The family asks attendees to wear something colorful to honor the vibrancy that Kay shared with us all.
