Lewis "Wayne" Neuterman 62 passed away unexpectedly at his home in Deltona on January 21 2010. Adored father of Kimberly Kristine and Mark; beloved brother of Michael and William; admired former member of the Atlantic City Police Department; and devoted teacher of Deltona High School. He is preceded in death by his wife Rosalie. A cross-country runner weightlifter and graduate of Lynchburg College Wayne served for 23 years on the ACPD. Known to his friends as ""Neut he retired with the rank of captain and re-located to Ormond Beach Florida. In mid-life he acquired a master's degree in TESOL spent several years as a safety officer at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and dedicated himself to a second career as an English teacher at Deltona High School. Wayne was universally acknowledged for his gentle kindness unshakable good nature unceasingly active mind and infectious smile. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday February 6th 2:00pm at Deltona High School 100 Wolf Pack Run
