Letha L. Hehr's Obituary
Letha L. Hehr, 98, of Mountainside, New Jersey and long-time resident of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away on February 9, 2018 at Princeton Village in Palm Coast. She was born on August 21, 1919 in Spiceland, Indiana to Harry and Lucy Smith. She was a widow, meeting and marrying Robert D. Hehr in 1946 while serving in the Women's Army Corp in New Guinea and Manilla during WWII.
As active members of Atlas Chapter, OES, Westerfield, New Jersey, Letha and Bob served as Worthy Matron and Patron in the mid 1970's.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice Bertram (Paul) of Palm Coast; and her grandson, Darren Short; and family in Atlanta, Georgia. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Daniel Hehr and nine brothers and sisters.
In Lieu of flowers, Letha requests memorial donations be made to ASPCA or to your local Humane Society.
