Leroy passed peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, October 11, 2025. He was born in DeLand, Florida on November 17, 1954 in his family home, to Eunice and Floyd Davis, he was one of the three children.

In his early years Leroy enjoyed spending time with his siblings, Harley and Ruby, along with his friends and cousins. Leroy was a dedicated family man, he met his wife, Donna, in 1978, and together they raised their daughter, Annette and son, James. He built his career working for Sherwood Medical Center for 40 years retiring in 2019. After retiring, Leroy enjoyed working around his house, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eunice and Floyd; his sister, Ruby; his brother, Harley; and his niece, Christine.

Leroy is survived by his wife, Donna; his children, Annette and James; his granddaughters, Teagan Anne and Taryn Anne Brown; his sister-in-law, Shirely; his nephews, Harley Jr., Richard, Johnny, and Durian; his niece, Eunice; and extended family members, all of whom he loved dearly.

A viewing will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 11:30 am with a funeral service starting at 12:00 pm at Volusia County Baptist Church - 261 S. Orange Ave., Orange City, FL 32763, interment will follow at DeLand Memorial Gardens.
