Leroy Calvin Collins , 75, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away on October 26, 2018 at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast.  He was born on December 16, 1942 in Cullman, Alabama to Recelious and Audrey Collins.

He served his country proudly in the United States Navy from August 1962 to May 1964.  He graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach and retired as a Sergeant Correctional Officer after many years of dedicated service.

Leroy loved horses, mules, cows, farm life in general and fishing.

Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Viola; two sons, Terry (Sheila) Collins of Ormond Beach, FL and Troy (Melissa) Collins of Bunnell, FL; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Joseph (Kima) and Justin (Debra) and three great-grandchildren, Cheryl, Isabella and Logan.

Memorial donations may be made in his memory to Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, 150 Memorial Medical Parkway, Palm Coast, Florida 32164.
