Leonie Marie Richison age 90 of Deland passed away on Sunday October 23 2011. A funeral mass in her honor will be held 10:00 AM on Thursday 11/3 at St. Peter Catholic Church 359 W. New York Ave. Deland followed by cremation and interment at Oakdale Cemetery. A viewing and vigil service will be Wed. 5:00 until the 6:30 service time.
Leonie was born one of 9 children in Mt. Carmel Quebec Canada to Joseph and Marie Francoeur. She dedicated her life as a devoted Catholic homemaker wife mother and grandmother. She was a proud member of St. Peter Catholic Church and Association of widowed persons. This resilient strong woman had a fun loving disposition enjoyed dancing was a wonderful cook and loved animals. Her beloved husband Charles Richison preceded her in death and she leaves behind her 4 children: Roger (Lori) Richison Andre (Dina) Richison Cecile (Billy) Enos and Monique (Chuck) Sackett 5 grandchildren: Joey Rosie Isaac Patricia and Joseph and 2 great grandchildren Mackenzie and Zane.
