A Celebration of Life for Leonidas Thomas Nicolaou 40 of Black Hickory Way Ormond Beach FL. who passed away on Monday April 23 2007 at his home in Breakaway Trails will be held Friday April 27 2007 at 8:30 PM at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Beach Chapel 733 W. Granada Blvd. with Father Michael Byars of Holy Cross Eastern Orthodox Church Ormond Beach officiating. His family will be receiving friends Friday evening form 7 PM until 9 PM. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery New London CT. Lonnie was born May 19 1966 in New London CT. the Son of Thomas L. and Katherine Berdoukas Nicolaou. Surviving him besides his parents are Paternal Grandparents Leonidas and Antigone Nicolaou a Sister Penelope Rosenbloom Chicago IL 3 Aunts Mary Ionnides Nancy Bellos and Demi Keramidas along with 3 nephews. Lonnie came to Ormond Beach in 1988 after graduating high school in New London CT. He graduated from Embry-Riddle University Aeronautical University. While attending college he worked for his aunt Mary Ionnides at Stavros Pizzeria. He later purchased the business and operated it presently known as Stavros III on S. Nova Rd. Ormond Beach. Lonnie enjoyed cars boating and loved spending time with his dog Cowboy. He was an avid sports fan enjoying the Dallas Cowboys especially.
