Leona Goodwin Shirah, 89, passed away on May 23, 2014. She was born to parents George and Erma Burnsed on November 10, 1924. She moved to this area in her early 20's and resided in Holly Hill for many years.

Leona was preceded in death by her first husband of 44 years, James Earl Goodwin, her second husband of 17 years, Chester Lamarre Shirah, and her son, James Earl Goodwin, Jr. She is survived by her children, Steve, Debbie and Brett (Mary), 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona, 1423 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL with the interment to immediately follow at Daytona Memorial Park.
