Leona A. Drevlow 84 South Daytona passed away peacefully on Friday November 30 2007 at the Oakbridge Healthcare Center in Lakeland Fl. Mrs. Drevlow was born on January 10 1923 in Herscher Illinois to Fred and Ida Altenbrunn. She married Pastor Ferdinand A. Drevlow on August 21 1949 in Minnesota and followed her husband through various church assignments in Minnesota Wisconsin Texas Ohio and finally South Daytona Florida at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. In their 58 years of marriage she offered support wherever needed including church secretary organist and choir director. She was the church secretary until her husband's retirement in 1994. Mrs. Drevlow enjoyed helping others cooking needlework and spending her time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband Pastor Ferdinand A. Drevlow of Lakeland Fl; Three children Daughters Sharon (Sandy) Sandifer of Houston TX and Stephanie (Richard) Peart of Lakeland and Son Stephen (Michelle) Drevlow of Port Orange FL; seven grandchildren Cherie David Karen Lauren Katherine Nicole and Stephen; one sister; Mardelle Colthurst and two nieces; Kris Fischer and Nan Breon. A memorial service is planned for Wednesday December 5 2007 at 2 pm at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in South Daytona.
