Leon F. Papazian of Clinton Ct.South in Palm Coast died Friday July 22 at Grand Oaks Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Cairo Egypt he was a resident of this area since 1980. Leon retired in 1966 after 24 years as an aeronautical engineer and Lt. Colonel in the United States Air Force He also retired from Lockheed Martin in 1980 .
He was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church The Matanzas River Yacht Club and the Palm Coast Yacht Club. He was an outdoorsman who loved hunting camping scuba diving and working on computers.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Jean son John Francis and his wife Donna of Seoul Korea a daughter Virginia Conover and her husband Cliff of Kennesaw Ga. a brother Bedros Peter of Montreal Canada and 5 Grandchildren.
His funeral service and interment will be held on Thursday in Kennesaw Ga.
