Obituary

Chester Leon Bryant passed away on August 20, 2015 at the age of 76. He was born in San Juan, Texas on June 18, 1939 and graduated from St. Albans High School, and then relocated to Florida from St. Albans, West Virginia. He was an engineer on a team for General Electric who enabled the Apollo Space Program to put the first men on the moon; and also a member of Central Baptist Church. Leon loved his family, and he also enjoyed golf, baseball and football. In addition, he was a tremendous fan of Elvis Presley. Leon is survived by his wife Barbara Ann Bryant, his sister Bonnie, his sons Dwayne, Tommy, Denny, and Steve, as well as his granddaughters Sara, Sophia, and Amber, and grandsons Sean, Avery, Zach, Kody, and Cade. Memorial donations may be made in his honor to American Heart Association. Services will be held privately by the family.
