Leonard Fries

Leonard Fries, 69, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022. Born on March 9, 1953, on Long Island, he was the fourth of five children to Michael and Ruth Fries. Lenny loved growing up with his large family. On November 26, 1972, Lenny married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Margaret, and together they grew a family of their own - four children; Jennifer, Leonard Jr., Robert, and Michael. A loving father and proud grandfather, Lenny was happiest surrounded by his family. He and Margaret hosted Sunday dinners filled with laughter, love, and Margaret's delicious sauce (Lenny's favorite) almost every week. Lenny's values of family and tradition shine through his grandchildren: Manny, CJ, Kayla, Adrianna, Margaret, Tiana, Ava, Olivia, Michael Jr., Lily, Stevie, Lenny III, Briana, and through their admiration for him. Lenny will forever be remembered for his strength and his unwavering love for his family.
