Lena W Utterback passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2013. She was born on August 21, 1924 in Reidsville, North Carolina, to Oscar F Windsor and Lola P Windsor. She moved to this area from Frankfort, Indiana, in 1958. Lena graduated from Brogdon High School in Goldsboro, NC in 1941, and also attended Louisburg College in Louisburg, NC, in 1943. Lena enjoyed spending her time with family and friends. She was a member of United Pentacostal Church of Deland. Lena retired from the FL Department of Transportation after 25 years.

She is survived by two sisters Lola Waters of Kinston, DC and Jessica Wilson Olah of Port Charlotte, FL.;two daughters JoAnn Gerhart (LaVon) and Cindy Maluda (Albert); two grandsons Christian Gerhart (China) and A.J. Maluda (Catherine); two granddaughters Candi Storm (John) and Carrie Gerhart; three great grandchildren Caylie Gerhart, Warrior Gerhart and Alisia J. Maluda. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Utterback and one brother Freeman Windsor and one sister Sara Casey.

A Funeral Service will be held in her honor on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 11:00am at United Pentacostal Church of Deland. Burial will follow at Oak Dale Cemetery.
