Lena M. Brunke's Obituary
Lena M. Brunke 83 of Ormond Beach passed away on Friday February 17 2012 at Sandlewood Nursing Home in Daytona Beach. She was born on March 9 1928 in Goldsboro NC to Herbert and Mary Minton. A retired bookkeeper housewife and mother she moved to this area in 1985 from Bradenton FL.
She loved to walk the beach every day for miles.
Survivors include her son Scott Brunke of Ormond Beach FL; four sisters Judy Turner and Elsie Graham both of NC Lessie Rich of VA and Mary Helen Tall of LA; two granddaughters Angela and Niki Brunke of Bradenton FL; and one great-granddaughter Sydney Fitzwater of Bradenton FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years Earl William Brunke who passed away on April 15 1985. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers Ralph and Richard and her sister Dorothy.
Memorial Donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association.
