Lemeul "Lem" Norman 82 of Deland FL passed away on December 14 2012. A visitation will be held on Wednesday December 19 at 11:00 am followed by a service at 1:00pm both in the Chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Deland 935 East New York Ave. Interment will follow at Deland Memorial Gardens.
Lemuel better known to most as "Lem" was a carpenter for most of his life. He also carried the nickname "Rifleman" which indicates his love of the outdoors where he spent much of his time fishing the local lakes or hunting deer or turkey. Lem also enjoyed playing the lottery with the hopes of one day striking it rich. Among his other hobbies Lem could always find the time to collect or gather not just one particular thing but as his family would say many different things.
Lemuel was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Capitola Norman and his sister Shirley. Left behind to cherish many wonderful memories are sisters Jeanette and Glenda son; Bart (Wendy) Norman daughters; Barbara Brooks Charlene (Larry) Byrket Carla (Tim) McGuire and Cindy Norman. In addition he leaves behind thirteen grandchildren fourteen great-grandchildren and many many friends. The family request that everyone dress casual for the services.
