Lela J. Cloud, 87, of DeLand, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2015, with her family at her side at Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler Care Center in Orange City. Lela moved to Florida with her late husband Russell Cloud and children from Washington DC in 1969. Moving to Florida, Lela was a homemaker; she enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with her children and grandchildren. Lela is survived by two daughters; Brenda Herring of DeBary and Marsha Welch of Lake Helen, three grandchildren; Pamela Nattress of DeLand, Cynthia Herring of DeBary and Cheryl Welch of DeLand; three great grandchildren; Ava and Ariel Appel, and Ashlinn Leclair. Brothers and Sisters include Doc, Dewey, Teddy, Percy, Sam, Betty Lou, and Nellie Mac. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Volusia/Flagler Hospice Care Center in Orange City. A graveside service will be held at DeLand Memorial Gardens on Friday January 16, 2015 at 10:00AM. Arrangements made by Lohman Funeral Home DeLand.
