Leatrice Joy Sack 79 of Daytona Beach Shores passed away on Tuesday November 18 2008. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday November 20 2008 at the Baggett-Summers Funeral Home 736 S. Beach Street Daytona Beach. The family will be receiving friends 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. She was born in Blanchland W.Va. on February 16 1929. Joy moved here in 1994 from New Jersey. She retired as a Senior Secretary at Westinghouse Electric and Phillips Lamp. She was a member of the South Peninsula Baptist Church and a proud volunteer at Holiday Care and at Mariner/Port Orange Nursing Home. She also sang in the Church Choir and was the church clerk. Joy was also a member of the Morningstar Quilt Guild. She is preceded in death by her husband Harry Sack. Survivors include her daughters Pamela Armento of Daytona Beach Shores Deborah and Jane King of Rutledge GA.; her niece Florence Dennis of East Orange N.J.; her sister Jane Trammell of Logan W.Va.; also her three grandchildren Billy Efstathiou of Daytona Beach Shores Stephanie McKernan of Rutledge GA. and Nickolas Efstathiou of Boonton N.J.; also her great-grandchildren Brady and Connor Efstathiou.
