Lea Marie Goulet , 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 26, 2021, just short of her 94th birthday, in Port Orange, Florida. Lea was born on September 7, 1927, in Chicopee, Massachusetts to the late Edward and Simone Mercier. Lea graduated from Cathedral High School, in Springfield, MA in 1945 and was married to the late Roger Goulet in 1948 who pre-deceased her in death in August 2018, for 70 years. In her early years, Lea worked as a dental assistant in Chicopee, MA and later became a full-time homemaker. In 1975, the family left Massachusetts and moved to Ormond-by-the-Sea, FL. Lea enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing tennis, and living near the ocean. Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Goulet Williams (Terk), Summerland Key, Florida, and Sherri Goulet Beltrami (Rick), Ormond Beach, Florida; a sister, Jeanne Denoncourt (J.P.), Chicopee, Massachusetts, and several nieces and nephews.
