Funeral Service for L.E. ?Bill? Folsom 86 of Ormond Beach who passed away Saturday February 11 2006 at Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial will be held Wednesday February 15 2006 at 10:00 a.m at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond with Rev. Ronald Todd officiating. His family will receive friends on Tuesday February 14 2006 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond with the interment to follow at Daytona Memorial Park. Bill was born February 27 1919 in Thomasville GA to A.O. and Anne Spell Folsom Sr. He moved to this area in 1923 from Georgia. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII where he served with the 12th Armored Division and was the recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Bill was the Co-Owner of Daytona Plumbing for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion Post #120 in Holly Hill. Bill loved Hunting Fishing NASCAR and sports. He is preceded in death by his wife Eleanor and his daughter Joanne. He is survived by three grandchildren Karl Rosenwald III Shannon Rosenwald and Billie Jo Rosenwald all of Ormond Beach FL a brother Oscar Folsom of Ormond Beach three sisters Barbara Pomerleau of the Daytona area Anna Laurie Saunders of the Daytona area and Emma Dell Stewart of California and 35 nieces and nephews in the Daytona Beach area.
