Lawrence (Larry) Joseph Rinaldi 86 passed away on Wednesday June 16 2010 at Halifax Health Medical Center - Port Orange. Visitation is scheduled for today (Monday June 21 2010) from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange (1201 Dunlawton Ave. Port Orange) and the chapel service will be Tuesday June 22 2010 at 11:00 am. Larry was born and raised in Syracuse NY the son of Tom and Mary Marra Rinaldi. During World War II he was drafted in to the Army on January 1943 and was in for the duration. Larry served with the 256th Field Artillery Battalion; he was on an 8 inch Gun M1. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and the Port Orange Elks. Left to cherish their memories together are his beloved wife Justine N. Rinaldi; his son Tom Rinaldi (Lynn) of Greenfield MA; his daughters: Mary Ann Kiehl (Cliff) of Lake Forest IL and Jo- Marie Kennedy (Thomas) of Syracuse NY; eight grandchildren; and his cousin Sonny Marra (Grace) of Daytona Beach. He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Renie Radke (Dale). In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his honor to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America Inc.
