Lawrence Michael Hroncich, 76, passed away on July 18, 2022 in Deland, Florida. He was born on July 30, 1945 in Jersey City, New Jersey. His parents were John and Pera Hroncich. He had a brother John Hroncich Jr. He had two daughter Susan Kittel(Luke) and Diane Carlton(Justin). He also had four grandchildren Bode Kittel, Maya Roberts, Zen Roberts, and Zoey Carlton. He enlisted in the Army in August of 1965 and served as a military policeman in both San Francisco, California and Berlin, Germany. He was honorably discharged in August of 1971 after serving three years of standby. After his active duty he worked for many years as an air conditioning duct insulator mechanic for oil refineries in New Jersey. In 1977 he moved to Winter Springs, Florida with his first wife and his girls. Throughout the years in Florida he worked in pool installations and within the door and window industry. He continued his work with Rolladen Shutter Company as an installer and designer. He continued after that at Zellwood Station and Country Club and ended his work career as a driver for Brinks Armored Car. In 2004 he was diagnosed with asbestos in his lungs and was then unable to continue to work. He then became a licensed Ham Radio operator which opened up a whole new world to him. He made many new friends through the ham radio community. He was married to his current wife Marilyn for almost 36 years. He will be missed dearly as a loving, caring, and loyal husband. He was a great father and a wonderful friend to many. His humor and the looks he could give will never be forgotten. His ashes will be interred at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
