Laveta M Fields, 88, of Lakeland, FL, went to be with the Lord Tuesday Oct 22, 2019. She was born January 8, 1931 in Holden, WV, the daughter of the late Wilburn and Mary Jane Belcher

Mrs. Fields was the widow of the late Lorenzo E. Fields (LD) and is survived by her daughter Debbie Sokolowski  (and the late Jack) of Chicago, IL, her sister, Sandra Luh (Bob) of New Jersey, her sister-in-law Johnnie Belcher (and the late Butch), her sister-in-law Freda Porter (and the late Thomas). She is also survived by her four grandchildren, David Fields of Florida, Kristie Amella (Robert) of Chicago, Keith Fields of Florida and Jackie Sokolowski of Chicago, IL also by her loving great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by Virgil and Isabelle Belcher, Cotton and Marie Belcher, Sonny and Judy Belcher, Hazel McMillen, Wanda and Lonnie Frazer, Marzetta and Claude Rutherford and Joyce Belcher also Wilburn Belcher Jr. who passed during the World War.

The family will receive friends 6:00-9:00 Monday Oct 28, 2019 at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange, 1201 Dunlawton Ave., Port Orange, FL 32127.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the High Point Pentecostal Church, 1495 Herbert St, Port Orange, FL 32129. Burial will be at Daytona Memorial Park following the funeral.
