Laverne Bandorf, 80, passed away November 16, 2012. A funeral service in her honor will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 20 at Cardwell Funeral Home, 3571 S. Ridgewood Ave., Port Orange. Laverne's family will receive guests one hour prior to the time of service. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.

Laverne had many experiences in the work force. She was a former assistant manager at Zale's, delivered newspapers, and worked as a book keeper for many years. She enjoyed volunteering at her children's school, making crafts, and selling goods at flea markets.

She was the beloved wife of the late John Bandorf for 22 years loving mother of John (Kim) Bandorf George Bandorf Theresa (Robin) Winton and Linda Stewart. Caring sister of Ruth Giddens Hilda Wilson Allan Austin Lance Austin and family and the late William Austin. Loving grandmother of A.J Timothy Garret Toriann Clairisse Matthew William and Christopher.
