LaVaughn E. Wiltgen 79 went home to be with the Lord Tuesday September 14 2010 in Daytona Beach FL. LaVaughn was born in Chicago IL to Joseph and Edna Kremer. She resided in Port Orange Fl with her husband. Visitation will be Wednesday 9/22/2010 at Burst Funeral Home 415 N. Gary Ave. Carol Stream IL from 3-9pm. Her services will take place Thursday 9/23/2010 @ 11:00am Our Savior Lutheran Church in Carol Stream Illinois. She is survived by her soulmate and the love of her life her husband of 61 years Vincent Wiltgen. Other survivors include; 1 son Darrell (Lucy) Wiltgen; 2 daughters Susan (Jacques) Wiltgen and Cheryl Hadamik; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. LaVaughn was preceded in death by 1 grandson Derek LaVesque. She worked as a secretary for Elmhurst Hospital in Chicago for 5 years. LaVaughn spent most of her life as a loving wife and homemaker for her family. She was known for decorating and remodeling her home with professional skills and craftmanship. She was a member of the Gold Life Master Contract Bridge Club Daytona Metropolitan Tomoka Oaks and the New Smyrna Beach Bridge Club. A few of the expressed memories of her Loving husband are the 40 cruises that they experienced together and also her love of flowers. LaVaughn will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange. Final Interment will take place at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst IL.
