Larry Phillip Workman 66 of Ormond Beach peacefully passed away on October 9 2012. A Memorial Service honoring his life will be held Saturday October 13 2012 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. The family welcomes friends at 10:00am with the chapel service at 11:00am.

Larry was born June 18 1946 in Cairo Illinois to the late Gerald and Nelda Workman. Larry graduated from Evansville High School in Evansville Indiana. He proudly served his country in the US Navy. Larry worked as an Electrician in the automotive industry for the Ford Company.

Larry actively joined many service clubs. He was a member of the Eagles the Elks the Shriners the Moose the VFW and the American Legion. Larry enjoyed hunting and firearms shooting. He also could be found riding his golf cart around the park or watching Pawn Stars and American Pickers on tv.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 16 years Deborah Workman of Ormond Beach FL; by his son Anthony Workman of Excelsior Springs MO; by his daughter Heather Burke of Adrian MO; by his grandsons Phillip and Daniel Johnson of Higginsville MO; and by his granddaughter Myla Workman. He will also be sadly missed by his dear dogs Buddy and Killer. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Larry's name to the Halifax Humane Society at 2364 LPGA Boulevard Daytona Beach FL 32124. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.
