Larry Allsup Teter passed away in Ormond Beach Saturday August 13th. A Memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Neal Ganzel assisted by David Troxler at Coquina Presbyterian Church Ormond Beach Florida on Wednesday August 17 2011 at 11:00 A.M with a burial to follow at Daytona Memorial Park in Daytona Beach Florida. He was born August 16 1935 in Weed California and was preceded in death by his parents M.S. "Mike" and Jessie Lee (Smith) Teter and his brother Donald Gaines Allsup. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army a professor of Chemistry for 30 years and an avid gardener. He served as an elder at Coquina Presbyterian (PCA) Church in Ormond Beach and was an active member of the Gideon's. He is survived by his wife Kathryn Hershberger Teter and three sons Larry Carl of Lafayette Louisiana Kenneth Marshall of Modesto California and Terry Lee Teter of Fresno California as well as 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
