Larry Thomas Carlisle of Deland Fl, died at 7:55am, Thursday, May 8th, 2025, due to complications from diabetes at Debary Health & Rehab Center. Lohman Funeral Home Deland is handling arrangements. Burial will be May 23rd, 11 am at Southern Memorial Park in Biloxi, MS.

Larry was born Dec 12, 1941, in LaGrange, GA, a son of William Nelson and Olive Mae Duffey Carlisle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother William Nelson Carlisle Jr. of New Orleans and one sister, Marjorie Carlisle Ambrister of Deland, Fl., surviving is one sister, Sandra Carlisle Collier of Slidell, La.

Larry graduated from Biloxi High School, attended Perkinston Junior College and Art School in New Orleans, enlisted in the National Guard earning the rank of Sargent, later making a career as an insurance agent. Larry always had a smile which attracted many friends. He was a great storyteller as well.
