Obituary

Lane Thomas Dalrymple

Lane Thomas went to be with Lord on Tuesday, May 26th, after a most heartbreaking motorcycle accident. Born in Daytona Beach, he attended both New Smyrna Beach and Cocoa Beach High Schools.

He was an apprentice electrician who was both passionate and patient about his work, and was so looking forward to his career with Giles Electric. Lane was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed snorkeling, motorcycling, video games, movies and drawing; He loved his family most of all, and was always there to lend a helping hand to those who needed it.

He was always there with one of his many smiles, and got great enjoyment from bringing smiles to others in his own playful way. Lane had many friends, and will truly be missed by all. A Memorial Service in Lane's honor will be held Thursday June 4th at 6p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Beach, a gathering of friends and family will begin one hour prior.

Lane is survived by his mother, Dominique Carlson; his father, Thomas Dalrymple; brother Zackery Moore (Amber) and sisters, Charisse and Marcie Dalrymple, Hannah Carlson, and Jennifer Ellis (Aubrey) and his niece and nephew. Also left to cherish his memory, Great Grandmother Mary Pugsley, Grama Kat - Kathy Tracy, Aunt Michelle Stevens (Scott), and their children Morgan, Kathlynn, Kassidy and Marshall, who was not only his fishing partner, but also his best friend. Lane was anticipating being the uncle to Marshall's first child. Many other aunts, uncles, relatives and friends also share this untimely loss.

For those of you planning to attend the gathering and/or service, the family of Lane requests you please dress "casually"!!
