Venkata Udaya Bhaskara Lakshmi Kasturi 67 of Palm Coast FL. passed away February 10th at Florida Hospital Flagler; Palm Coast FL. Visitation will be held from 10 am until 12 noon on February 13th at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Pkwy Palm Coast FL. Cremation will be at a later date. Lakshmi was born and raised in India moving to Louisiana in 1978 then to Florida in 2008. She graduated from University of Louisiana with three Masters Degrees and a PhD. She was also an Emerson scholar. Lakshmi worked as a professor for many years. She was a member of the Datta Temple in Baton Rouge Louisiana where she led many prayer groups. She was a loving and devoted wife mother and friend. Lakshmi was a spiritual person with a passion for education. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her. Lakshmi was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 35 years JR Kasturi in 2003. She is survived by sons Krishna Kasturi and his wife Dr. Savitha Kasturi of FL Seenu Kasturi and his wife Divya of FL and daughter Mina Kasturi of FL.
