Konrad Rapf age 83 of Ponce Inlet passed away on Tuesday May 24 2011. Konrad was born in Czechoslo-vakia in 1928 and moved to Germany were he met the love of his life Juliane. He immigrated to New York in 1953. He retired in 1993 and moved to Florida. He was a fun loving man who enjoyed the beach basketball cooking NASCAR and spending time with family and friends. Most of all he was a devoted family man. He was a long standing member of the German-American Society of Daytona Beach Inc. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years Juliane Rapf; a daughter Julie; son-in-law Skip; and two grandsons Christopher and Michael. A memorial service in his honor will be held on Wednesday June 1 11:00 A.M. at the Port Orange Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Homes. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Volusia/ Flagler.
