Klaus Bahr 81 of Daytona Beach Shores FL passed away at home on June 24 2010. He loved tennis skiing piloting a glider boogie boarding and swimming. He immigrated to the U.S. through the Berlin Wall and deeply loved both his homelands of Germany and America. Klaus loved to travel the world with his favorite destination skiing the Alps. He loved all people regardless of their race or religion stature or financial standing abilities or disabilities. He raised his children to believe that everyone has value. Survivors who cherish his memory are his loving wife Ute; daughter Sonnja; son-in-law Michael; son Eric; brother Eberhard; sister Ilse; and sister-in-law Gretal. Klaus's kindness generosity love and compassion will be deeply missed. A memorial service was held on Tuesday June 29 2010 4:00 pm in the Club room at the Peninsula Condominium (2545 S. Atlantic Avenue Daytona Beach Shores FL 32118). A private scattering of his ashes will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Palm Key Institute 330 Coosaw Way #17 Ridgeland SC 29936.
