Kevin J. McDonald passed away on July 10, 2017 at Halifax Hospital in Daytona, FL after a brief but painful battle with esophageal/stomach cancer. He is survived by his mother, Sandra G. McDonald; father, Richard G. McDonald; brother, Kirk R. McDonald; brother Kyle R. McDonald and his wife Melissa A. McDonald, all of Charlton, MA; brother, Korey R. McDonald and his wife Melissa D. McDonald of Holland, MA; two daughters Kaitlin and Rachel McDonald of Port Orange, FL; one grandson, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Kevin was born in Southbridge, MA and moved to Charlton, MA as a boy where he received many awards as an "Ace" left-handed pitcher. Later, he worked as a skilled craftsman in multiple trade areas from high school until his passing. He owned KJM Drywall and worked for Craig Electric in Volusia County, FL. Kevin always took great pride in his work, and it showed through the use of his innate abilities of creativity and inventiveness, as well as through his learned disciplines.

He was always an avid New England Patriots fan even after living 30+ years in Florida. All who knew Kevin will remember him as a true friend who was easy to talk with and a pleasure to be around. He will forever be in our hearts and in our prayers.
