Mr. Kenneth S. Shepard Sr. age 89 or Ormond Beach died May 10 2005 in Ormond Beach. He was born in Pittsfield MA February 1 1916 to Lloyd A. and Jennie Williams Shepard. He moved to the area in 2004 from Lanesboro MA. He was a long time winter resident of Punta Gorda Florida. Mr. Shepard worked for General Electric as a manufacturing engineer in Pittsfield MA for 43 years until his retirement in 1978. Most of his work involved defense contracts from the United States Government. Mr. Shepard was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ in Punta Gorda. He is survived by 2 sons Kenneth S. Shepard Jr. of New Smyrna Beach FL and Douglas P. Shepard of Natick MA. 2 brothers Wilbur Shepard of St. Petersburg FL and Everet Shepard of Clearwater FL One sister Esther Hall of St. Petersburg Fl. 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
