Kenneth (Kenny) Wayne Ayers, Sr., 60, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida entered the arms of his heavenly Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 3, 2021. Kenny was born on January 29 ^th , 1961, in Rock Hill, SC but called New Smyrna Beach home for the last 12 years. Surviving family members include, his wife, Kimberly (Kimi) Stevens Ayers, his three children, Kenneth (Ken) Wayne Ayers, Jr. (Heather), Phillip Ryan Ayers (Brittany), and Tiffany Ayers Patterson. Kenny is also survived by his sister Angela (Angie) Weeks, brother-in-law Edward Weeks, and sister-in-law, Jennifer Ayers. Kenny will be missed greatly by his seven grandchildren who he loved with all his heart: Taylor Patterson, Eli Ayers, Finley Ayers, Ely Ayers, Skylar Patterson, Preston Ayers, and Zeb Ayers. Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Virgil (Pete) Ayers, mother, Pansy Ayers, brother, Dennis Ayers, and son-in-law, Cory Patterson.

Kenny Ayers was a loving father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle, and son. Kenny had a loving soul, vibrant personality, and never met a stranger. Kenny spent most of his career as plant engineer/manager at multiple manufacturing facilities. He met Kimi in 2008 and joined their business O2 Wizard. Kenny was a true man of God who pastored in many roles including most recently at MIMS House of Prayer. Kenny enjoyed reading the Bible, going to church, spending time with family, fishing, collecting/working on cars, collecting knives and guns, the beach, cruises, and eating a good meal. Kenny loved coaching whether it was his boys in football or his granddaughter in volleyball. He was always up for the challenge. Kenny taught his children many life lessons, all of which he lived by, with the most important being: put God first, love your family, and always believe in yourself.  Kenny touched many lives during his journey here on earth, but now rests with his loved ones in heaven. Kenny and his cowboy hat will be missed dearly, but he does not want us weeping as he is rejoicing in heaven.

A service will be held on Sunday, December 12th at 1:30 pm at First NSB Family Church. The church address is 200 Faulkner Street, New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
