Kenneth (Ken) R. Archibald age 78 of Ormond Beach FL passed away on Friday November 10 2006 at St. Luke's Hospital in Jacksonville. A celebration of his life with his family and friends will be held at his today between 3-6pm. Ken was born in Windsor Ontario Canada and moved permanently to Florida in 1993. He was a professor of English and Computer Science at the Thames campus of St. Clair College in Ontario and retired after 20 years of teaching. He loved Dixieland Jazz and Marches and everyone who met him loved him. A kind gentle and generous man he was a wonderful husband and father and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Rose Marie his son and daughter in law Donald Curtis (Curt) and Connie Archibald of Windsor Ontario his daughter Liz and son in law Jim Ablett of Richmond Hill Ontario and his four grandchildren Justin Brea and Kyle Archibald and Jessie Ablett. He was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Johnson and his best friend and brother in law Bill Lowes.
