Kathryn Sykes 83 of Port Orange FL passed away with her loving family by her side June 5 2011. There will be a viewing held from 5 to 7pm today June 7th at Baggett & Summers Funeral Home 736 S. Beach Street Daytona Beach FL 32114. The Funeral Service will follow at 7pm. The burial will be at Florida National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband. Mrs. Sykes was born in Jersey City New Jersey November 7 1927 and moved to Port Orange in 1986. She was a former member of the Art League of Daytona Beach FL and The Palmetto Club. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years John Sykes Jr. She is survived by 3 sons: John of Crawforville FL Richard of Hebron Ky and Timothy of Port Orange FL; A Grand Daughter Elizabeth and 4 Great Grandchildren.
