Kathryn Marie Scanlon age 72 of Deltona passed away on Monday February 13 2012 at Florida Fish Memorial Hospital.

A 2:00 met and greet until a 4:00 service will be held on Friday 02/17 at the Deltona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home. Pastors: Norma Johnson and John McClaurin will officiate.

Kathryn was born in Louisville Kentucky to Edward and Betty Scanlon. She was a vastly educated woman holding a Bachelor and two Master Degrees and dedicated her talents as a Pesticide Regulation Specialist for the Environmental Protection Agency and Information Research Specialist for the Library Industry. She was a proficient seamstress who enjoyed reading astronomy and traveling. This kind generous caring gentile woman loved her family especially her grandchildren and will be deeply missed. She leaves behind her broken hearted partner of 27 years; Harold Schutt 2 sons: Edward (Atriums) and Stephen Coffman a sister Janice (Dennis) Sortoris a brother Wesley Fereday and 2 granddaughters; Natasha age 5 and Natalie 3 months.
