Eileen belonged to the Bartholomew Chapter of the DAR. She was an Ombudsman volunteer and enjoyed teaching computer classes at Computers for Seniors in Daytona Beach.
Eileen enjoyed traveling with her husband; they circled the globe as their retirement trip, and continued to seek out new and exciting places to visit including Hawaii, Panama Canal, Tahiti and many more. She also enjoyed playing bridge, both she and Bert were Bridge Life Masters. She enjoyed gardening and attending the symphony with friends. One of her favorite pastimes was carving and decorating eggs, from quail eggs to emu eggs. She enjoyed cooking and baking and loved to entertain her family.
