Kathryn M. Didyoung 84 long time resident of Daytona Beach passed away April 18 2012. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Kathryn at The Basilica of St. Paul's 317 Mullally St. Daytona Beach Monday April 23 2012. Visitation will be at the church from 8-9am followed by the Mass at 9am. Committal Service will immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Kathryn was a sales clerk for F.W. Woolworth's on Beach St for 20 years. Kathryn will be remembered as a dedicated volunteer for 30 years at the City of Daytona Beach Leisure Services Dept at the City Island Recreation Hall Friday Dance. You could find Miss Kathryn seriously collecting the 50 cents entrance fee for dance participants and helping with refreshments. She faithfully attended St Paul's and served as usher for every 4:00 Mass.

Kathryn enjoyed sewing and knitting and was an avid walker.

Kathryn was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Emma Didyoung of Clementon Township NJ. She will be sadly missed by her special friend and dear caregiver Linda McGee who was always by her side. All who knew her will mourn her passing. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Baggett and Summers Funeral Home.
