Kathlyn O. Sherry born Kathlyn O. McKenzie on December 6, 1922 in Campbellsville, Kentucky died on March, .   Kathlyn was daughter to John and Rae McKenzie.  She was sister to Maurice McKenzie and Dorothy Wootten all now deceased.  Kathlyn was married to Robert Sherry, deceased.  She is survived by nephews George and John.  Kathlyn was a long time resident of Ormond Beach, Florida.  Kathlyn, Bob and Maurice were members of Riverview United Methodist Church.

Kathlyn grew up in Campbellsville, Kentucky and Springfield, Illinois.  She attended several colleges for nursing training including Johns Hopkins University.  Kathlyn was an Army nurse during the Korean War era and was posted overseas.  After her service she moved to Chicago Illinois where she eventually married Bob Sherry in 1958.  Kay was Director of Instructional Nursing at Chicago Wesleyan Hospital until 1972 when Kay and Bob moved to the Flagler Beach and Ormond Beach area.  Kay did volunteer nursing for various hospice organizations in the Daytona Beach area.
