Kathleen "Kit-Kat" M. Dematteo's Obituary
Kathleen M. "Kit-Kat" DeMatteo, peacefully passed away on February 11th, 2018 in Gainesville, FL. She was born in New York, NY the daughter of Alfonso Carcagente and Rosemary Greenberg. She was married to the late Al DeMatteo for 31 years and resided in Palm Coast since 2006. She was a five year Cancer survivor; having received the Relay of Life medal. Her hobbies and interests included puzzles and card games. Survivors include her daughter Christine DeMatteo, a brother Frances (Maggie) Carcagente, two nieces and one nephew, best friends, Maggie Streck-Hurtley (Tracy) 11 years, best friend, caregiver their son Corey was Kit-Kat's godson and Lynn Olson, best friend for six years.
A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018, preceded by a Gathering of family and friends, from 5pm until the Service time at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast.
