Kathleen (Kitty) Bosley Cottrill

Kathleen (Kitty) Bosley Cottrill 90 of Ormond Beach passed away at The Coquina Center on July 28 2008. Visitation will be from 11 am - 12 noon on Saturday August 2nd at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Beach with a funeral service to follow at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel. Kathleen was born in Baltimore MD on July 21 1918 and spent her life as a homemaker in Arcade NY and Ormond Beach FL. She was most recently a resident of The Coquina Center of Ormond Beach where she had many friends among the residents and staff and where she also recently celebrated her 90th birthday. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years George Cottrill. Kathleen is survived by her son Jim Cottrill and wife Dianne of Ormond Beach; Grandson Dr. Jerod and wife Dr. Judy Cottrill of Portland OR; Granddaughter Meghan Wightman and husband Doug of Gurnee IL; four great-grandchildren: Miles and Ruby Cottrill and Sydney and Alexis Wightman. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Margaret Heustis of Daytona Beach and a godson Jack Cudworth and his wife Jan of Orlando. The family would like to thank the staff of The Coquina Center for four years of loving care; Kitty thought of it as "home" and the residents and staff as family.
