Kathleen Margaret Harrison passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Grace Episcopal Church, 4110 S. Ridgewood Ave, Port Orange, Florida 34127.
Kathleen was born on January 19, 1930 in Windsor, Canada, to Kathleen and William Leslie, who immigrated from Scotland in the early 1920s. As a young woman, Kathleen loved the outdoors including swimming and volunteering as a lifeguard. After high school, she worked as a secretary for a congressman in Washington DC. She also worked as a secretary at General Motors in Michigan. Throughout her life, she enjoyed raising her children, gardening, cooking, flower-arranging, ballroom dancing, traveling and volunteering at church.
Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband, John L. Harrison; her parents, William and Kathleen Leslie; and her brothers, William and Ken Leslie. Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Brian (Cindy) Harrison, Kathy Harrison, and John (Delia) Harrison; four grandchildren, Melinda, Cassandra, Alisa and John; and many extended family members and friends.
