On December 6, 2021, an army of angels came and took Kathy Climer home. She died peacefully at home in Ormond Beach, FL after a long battle with cancer.

She was born in Chippewa Falls, WI in 1949. She was the daughter of Amos and Genevieve Klages of Winter Springs, FL.

Kathy was the CEO of Climer School of Real Estate in Daytona and Orlando from 1998 to 2014. Her duties included course creator, scheduler, test grader, tuition enforcement officer, bookkeeper, fingerprint taker, student guidance counselor, class photographer, decorator, cheerleader, moral supporter, parking lot inspector, and her most important job was the Manager of the Complaint Department. She was honored with the coveted Employee of the Year plaque for 15 years in a row.

Kathy is survived by her husband Ron Climer, her stepchildren Amy Climer (Julie) of Asheville, NC, Karen Climer of Orlando, FL, and Gregory Climer of San Francisco, CA, her brother Wes Klages (Joy) of Appleton, WI, and five nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday, December 13, 2021 at Lohman Funeral Home - Ormond, 733 W Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach, FL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
