Funeral Mass for Kathleen H. Billmeier 64 of Port Orange who passed away at home with her family by her side on Tuesday August 21 2007 will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday August 25 2007 at Epiphany Catholic Church with Reverend Paul Kamide officiating. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday August 24 2007 at the Port Orange Chapel of Lohman Funeral Homes. Kathleen was born on June 8 1943 to the late Milton and Audrey Hyde in Montgomery Alabama and grew up in Birmingham. She met her husband Mike on a blind date in November 1965 and they were married on April 23 1966. Kathleen was a homemaker and loved animals especially her dogs. Of all the things she loved her greatest passion in life was for her children and grandchildren. Kathleen leaves to cherish her memory of their lives together her loving husband of 41 years L. Michael Billmeier; son L. Michael Billmeier Jr. son David W. Billmeier M.D. and his wife Brooke B. Billmeier; grandson Alex C. Billmeier and granddaughter Lauren P. Billmeier. She was preceded in death by her sister Janice Hyde.
