Kathleen M. Apostolou, a longtime resident of Daytona Beach Shores, passed away Saturday, June 27th at her home in Daytona Beach at the age of 97. Kathleen was born in Greenville, South Carolina, to John and Marie ( Campbell ) Montgomery. Kathleen spent the next 49 years in South Carolina, 25 of which, she and her husband James, owned and operated the Central Restaurant in Greenville. After her move to Florida in 1967, Kathleen found many things in the area to occupy her time and enjoyed doing and discovering new things each and every day. Along her journey of life, Kathleen made many friends, and will surely be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She is survived by her two nephews, James Apostolou and George Psillas. Services for Kathleen will be held Thursday, July 2nd, at 11:30 a m in the Lohman Funeral Home Daytona chapel with calling hours one hour prior. Interment will follow Services at Daytona Memorial Park.
