On December 4, 2021, Katherine Agnes Kuczynski (Driscoll) got her wings and went to walk with the angels. She was 90 years old.
She was born and raised in Bayonne, N.J. being the oldest of 11 siblings. While pursuing her career in nursing she met her spouse Edward. He was a loving man. In 1972 they relocated their family to Staten Island, N.Y.. Katherine was a cherished mother and a loveable grandmother. She was best known as "Nanny".
Katherine was predeceased by her loving husband, Edward Kuczynski; her parents James and Katherine (Dodge) Driscoll; Daughter Colleen Dwyer; Siblings Jimmy Driscoll (Katherine's twin brother); Edith Giovinazzo; Joey Driscoll; Jessie Gallagher; Jackie Driscoll.
Katherine is survived by her 2 children Kathleen Kuczynski; Maureen Petersen (Niles, son-in-law); six Grandchildren Robert Dwyer; Angela Frater; Ashley Frater; Lauren Petersen; Gregory Petersen; Katie Madosik; and her Great Grandson Edward Frater and was a loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her siblings Anne O'Hara; Camelia Monteforte; Pat Driscoll; Margaret Levers; and Nona McGinnis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on December 22, 2021 at 8:30 AM at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church located at 4675 S. Clyde Morris Blvd Port Orange, FL. An Inurnment at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten island, N.Y. will take place at a later day. Services are under the direction of Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange.
