On October 10th, 2025 at 8:03 pm, Katherine A. Broussard, of Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, departed this life. She will be immensely honored and missed by her surviving husband, best friend, and partner in life, Steven Broussard; as well as her brother and sister in law, Charles and Sue (Horvath) Astrauskas; brother, Martin Astrauskas; brother, Dr. Leonard Astrauskas; sister and brother in law, Rosalie (Astrauskas); Ret. Maj. Frank Dougherty; and all of their children and grandchildren.

She was preceded into the afterlife and will be assisted in her onward travel by her mother and father, Nellie and Joseph Astrauskas of Pentwater Michigan; brother, Michael Astrauskas as well as his wife Nancy of Wyoming, Michigan; and her beloved feline friend, HoneyBee.

There will be a visitation on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 11AM at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange located at 1201 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange, Florida 32127.  A prayer service will be held at 11:30AM which will include speaking and sharing.

In lieu of flowers it would honor Kathe to make a donation to an animal care shelter or rescue facility of your choice.
