Katharine Patten Lapointe, 98, of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 10, 2017, with her children, Pat and Steve Lapointe by her side. Katharine was born in New York City on December 30, 1918. After her marriage to John Lapointe in 1941, the couple moved to Montreal, Canada.

Katharine is predeceased by her husband, who passed away in 1998. Her greatest pleasures in life were the times she spent with her family; daughter Pat, son Steve, daughter-in-law Karen, granddaughter Laura and her husband Mike, her great-granddaughter Olivia, and her niece Jane. She will always be remembered for her sweet, gentle manner and loving heart.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a service at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond, 733 West Granada Boulevard in Ormond Beach.
